Pride Is an Ecosystem
Every second Saturday in June, dozens of nonprofits, businesses, artists, and community organizations transform Boston with races, parades, festivals, performances, block parties, concerts, and celebrations. Together, these experiences create Pride across the city.
Road of Rainbows is proud to be one part of that ecosystem.
We’re fortunate to be located in two of Boston’s most active Pride destinations: Boston Common and Downtown Boston. Thousands of people move between events throughout the day, making our celebration part of the natural flow of Boston Pride.

Boston’s Biggest Pride Athletic Event
Among the many Pride celebrations happening throughout the city, Road of Rainbows is the only large-scale athletic Pride event on Pride Saturday.
Our Pride 5K welcomes runners, walkers, families, first-time participants, competitive athletes, and people who simply want to celebrate. It combines wellness, performance, community, and Pride into one experience unlike any other in Boston.
Why Our Sponsors Stand Out
Limited Sponsorships
We intentionally limit our sponsorship program to a small group of partners each year. Fewer sponsors means greater visibility and stronger recognition.
Bigger Impact
Instead of competing with hundreds of logos, our sponsors receive meaningful exposure before, during, and after Pride weekend.
Long-Term Partnerships
Many sponsors return year after year because our philosophy is simple: Quality partnerships are more valuable than quantity.
Designed for Everyone
Gender Neutral
Every part of the event, from registration through awards, is intentionally gender-neutral.
Pay What You Can
Free registrations are always available so cost is never a barrier.
Accessible
ASL interpretation and ADA accessibility help make the event welcoming for everyone.
First Pride Friendly
Thousands attend their very first Pride event with us because the structure of a race makes participation easy and welcoming.
Families Welcome
Children, friends, coworkers, allies, and LGBTQ+ community members all celebrate together.
Community First
Everything is designed to make people feel like they belong from the moment they arrive.
Built by a Nonprofit
Unlike many Pride celebrations, Road of Rainbows is produced entirely by Boston Theater Company, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Every sponsorship helps support a mission that continues throughout the year through Pride 365, creating opportunities, visibility, and community for LGBTQ+ people long after Pride Month ends.
